Company History


John Hanse started several companies that have shaped the environmental testing industry:


  • Allegan Environmental (Nov. 1989)

Building custom chambers.


  • Qualmark (July 1992)

Founded with Mr. Hobbs, built HALT HASS systems.


  • Hanse Environmental (Jan 1993)

Focused on HALT HASS systems and custom chambers. Joined with M.V.E. in 1999 as MVE/Hanse. MVE was purchased by Chart Industries. Hanse Environmental Inc. bought back shares and has operated independently since 2000.

  • Size Range: From small 1 ft³ to 8000 ft³ (28 L to 226,534 L)

  • Integration: Vibration systems can be integrated with ultra-hot or cold chambers.


TC-36 Ultra Cold


  • Internal Work Space: 6’ x 6’ x 8’ (1.8 x 1.8 x 2.4 m)

  • Temperature Range: +200˚ C to -170˚ C at 10˚+ C/min



20 x 20 Ultra Cold


  • Internal Work Space: 20’ x 20’ x 20’ (6 m x 6 m x 6 m)

  • Temperature Range: +200˚ C to -170˚ C at 5˚+ C/min



Cryogenic ECA


  • Environmental Controlled Air (ECA)

  • Temperature Range: -100˚ to +200˚ C (Option -170˚ to +400˚ C)

  • Change Rate: 5-60 C/min

  • High Velocity Blower: For connection to user applications.



Vibration Systems


We offer advanced vibration systems designed for rigorous testing:


  • Round Table Development
